The Origin of Pottar
It all started with a simple question: What if?
What if we could create custom MIDI controllers dedicated to each and every specific use case or individual? A controller just for your favorite VST plugins, for tweaking your in-ear mix on stage, for extending your modular synth, for controlling your lighting rig, or just building one simply because you can.
This question became our driving force. A pursuit to redefine what MIDI controllers could be.
Why "Pottar"?
The name comes from the French slug word "potar", which means potentiometer: the heart of any MIDI controller.
To give it a unique identity, we replaced the "O" in "Pottar" with a visual representation of a potentiometer knob from a top-down view.
This approach reflects our focus on blending functionality, creativity, and design in everything we do.
